M.I.A. continues to create headlines, this week declaring Justin Bieber's latest video more offensive than her "Born Free" video.
M.I.A. came under fire for her the graphic nature of her video for "Born Free" which sees redhead children being executed, but she's not let the controversy get to her. Instead it looks like she's aiming to create a little more uproar.
Speaking with NME, M.I.A. let loose on Bieber, "If I'm honest, I find the new Justin Bieber video more violent and more of an assault to my eyes and senses than what I've made"
She continued on to discuss the reaction to the "Born Free" video, explaining: "I did nine hours of phone interviews yesterday and all anyone wanted to know about was the meaning of the video. It completely baffles me that everyone seems obsessed with deciphering the meaning to it, in the same way as the Brick Lane riot for American Apparel leggings baffled me."
In other M.I.A. news, she's finally revealed the name of her highly anticiapted third album: /\/\/\Y/\ .
She certainly knows how to keep us talking, that's for sure.
