David Guetta says the biggest perk of a long flight to Australia is being able to create music without being interrupted.

The DJ extraordinaire told Perth’s breakfast team that he’s got everything he needs on his laptop.

“I love flying. I have my studio on my lap top and it’s amazing because there nothing else to do. No phone calls, nothing,” he said.

“Obviously I couldn’t make a song because there’s no singers but I can make the music.”

Guetta’s recently released album featured a massive list of A-list collaborators. He said artist tend to ask to work with him, rather than the other way around.

“It’s very rare that I call artists. Most of the time they call me,” he said.

“I don’t want to be chasing people. Usually they know the type of sound they want and that’s how they choose producers.”
