ELECTRONIC MUSIC MASTERCLASS FEATURING DIRTY SOUTH, GRANT SMILLIE + SPECIAL INTERNATIONAL GUESTS

It’s not very often the biggest Djs and producers in the world open up the session files on
their computers to show you exactly how they made their #1 records, is it?

Well, they seem to be making a habit of it at EMM.

The 2011 Masterclass, presented by Carlton Dry, Red Bull & 360 Agency; again partners
with 2 x Grammy Nominated Australian electronic royalty, Dirty South and will be headed up
by multi ARIA award winning DJ/Producer Grant Smillie.

In 2010 they were joined by Tiesto, and this year another surprise international guest will be
spilling their industry secrets for the lucky audience of up and coming DJs and producers.
Dirty South will be opening up the project file on his latest record 'Walking Alone', to show
exactly how it was made, giving aspiring producers access to the type of knowledge that
they can't read in a manual.  EMM will also talk social media & marketing; discussing
strategies on how to most effectively raise artist profiles in the competitive dance music
industry.
They will also be giving attendees the chance to have their remix of Dirty South’s international
smash hit ‘Alive released on Beatport through Neon or Phazing Records. Remix parts will
be available to ticket holders at 360agency.com/emm from October 19th, with the winner
being announced live on stage at EMM 2011.

This event gives young, local talent a rare insight into the work of dance music’s elite.

We received such positive feedback on last years event and had a great time interacting
with the next wave of up and coming producers, we just had to come back and do it again!”
Grant Smillie.

Tickets on Sale now via Moshtix.
