It's been a while since we've heard from Kanye West - musically speaking, that is - but it looks like new music from the phenom could be just around the corner.

While we've only got seven words to go on, this little tidbit has us excited. Devo Springfield - the super producer who's worked with the like of Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Nas & Estelle - tweeted the following:

"Heard the new Kanye West album.. Inspiring..."

Kanye's last album '808s & Heartbreak' was released to critical acclaim in 2008, making his highly anticipated fifth album well overdue. Surely the release date isn't too far off now. Stay tuned for more updates.
