It's been confirmed that Kanye West is working with hip hop stars Q-Tip, Drake, RZA and Pete Rock on his new record.
The highly anticipated release -- which has a working title of A Good Ass Job -- will be West's first release since 2008's 808s & Heartbreak and will see him seeking redemption from his fans and peers following 2009's Swift-gate.
West has been locked away in a Hawaiian studio recording the album, with a number of artists stopping by to lend a hand.
Drake has been quoted already declaring West's upcoming release as "best hip-hop album of the past 10 years", and speaking with MTV earlier in the year he said:
"Kanye just brought extra brushes to the painting session. He just brought some more colors so we can complete this masterpiece. I know he's eager to complete his record too, so he's back in that music mode which is great."
RZA was similarly complimentary, speaking with Brooklyn Bodega about upcoming collaborations, he confirmed he'd be hitting the studio with West:
"I just try to work with people who I admire or whom I think has got it. So right now I’m working on Nas’ sh*t, about to work with Kanye on his sh*t."
A Good Ass Job is currently slated for a June release.
