Lady Gaga's massive album, The Fame Monster, has been declared the biggest selling album of 2010.

The record, which was released as an extension to her 2008 delivery The Fame, has moved more than six million units worldwide.

Gaga spread the news via Twitter. "The Fame Monster was named the best-selling album of 2010! I'm so excited for the future, believe + work hard, you will achieve your dreams," she Tweeted.

Eminem followed closely behind Gaga with a total of 5.7 million album sales for his latest delivery, Recovery.
