Lupe Fiasco has confirmed he will take part in Fiasco Friday; an initiative put forth by his fans to rally Fiasco's record label for a release date of his lost album Lasers.
Fiasco and fans will gather outside Atlantic Records' Ney York offices on October 15 in an attempt to help Lasers see the light of day.
Lasers -- Fiasco's third album -- was completed in July but is yet to be given a release date.
"It's one of the sadder parts of being on a major record label," Fiasco told The Boombox. "At a certain point it's out of your hands.
"About a date for Lasers, it's truly on them. I have no idea what they're going to do."
Fiasco confirmed his attendance at the rally via his Twitter account. "#FiascoFriday huh?!?" he asked. "well if y'all there...I guess I gotta be there too!"
