N*E*R*D are gearing up for their tour Down Under and preparing to deliver an all-star show to party goers at Summadayze 2011.
Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley teamed up with Canadian singer Nelly Furtado for the first single “Hot N' Fun” and continued to roll out an all-star cast with their Daft Punk-produced track “Hypnotise” for the second single.
It’s not the first time N*E*R*D has worked with the French robo-duo -- They produced the remix for the grammy-winning “Harder, Faster, Stronger” in 2001.

“Bumping in to them was kinda like, ‘damn man, it's been so long.’ They were playing us the Tron album and we were playing them the N*E*R*D album and they were talking about all the songs they loved on this album. We're just really excited about it,” Williams tells Phoenix News Times.
N*E*R*D also collaborated with T.I. for the album track “Party People”. The recording came shortly after his arrest for drug charges earlier in September, but Williams is confident that the rapper is back on track.
“He knows what he has to do. And, at the end of the day, he cares about his fans, he cares about his life, he cares about his freedom. And he’s focused on all the things he needs to be focused on,” Williams tells Dallas Observer.
