Pendulum's new studio album "Immersion" is on its way. Following successful DJ shows in Australia over Christmas in which they previewed some new tracks, they will play an album preview set at London's Matter nightclub on 22nd January and will be streamed live online from 1:00pm AEST.
With over a million album sales to their name already, Pendulum’s upcoming album ‘Immersion’ is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of 2010. Following recent dub-plate support from the likes of Andy C, Friction and Sub Focus the first significant tantalising taster of the new material will be provided when Pendulum play an Album Preview DJ set at their Ear Storm night at London’s Matter nightclub on January 22nd.
The event highlights two unique experiences: a new technologically advanced DJ set performed by the original trio Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, Paul Harding and MC Ben Mount, synced with jaw-dropping visuals provided by The Pixel Addicts AND the first chance for fans to be blown away by the new material that pushes Pendulum’s sound into scintillating new boundaries.
"It’s been two years in the making and I’m more excited about this record than anything we’ve ever done. We’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some of our idols, played live alongside some of the biggest names in rock and electronic music, and finally set up a permanent studio in London. We’ve learnt so much during the process and this next record really does feel like a culmination of all those experiences. I’d say it’s almost ‘The Perfect Storm’ but that shitty film with George Clooney ruined the phrase." - Rob Swire, Pendulum
