The 2010 Splendour In The Grass line up has landed, and it's arguably their biggest (and best) year yet.
Today's line up announcement sees Splendour In The Grass cement itself as Australia's must-attend festival of the year assembling one of this year's strongest casts.
The dance contingent is heavily represented at the 2010 event, headed up by James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem, who'll make their first return to Australia as a full band since 2008's glorious Big Day Out run.
Hot Chip will showcase their latest opus One Life Stand when they take to the stage, and recent visitors Delphic will return after last month's mind-blowing Australian tour with a festival set that's sure to thrill.
The rockers haven't been forgotten, however, as Pixies return Down Under this year, making their only Australian appearance as festival headliners. They'll be joined by a raft of this year's finest acts including Scissor Sisters, Goldfrapp, The Strokes, Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
The local contingent is headed up by world beaters The Temper Trap, alongside a huge list of our talent including Empire of the Sun, Wolfmother, Angus & Julia Stone and Cloud Control. Splendour In The Grass will also signal a return to the stage for trouble-plagued rockers The Vines.
Splendour In The Grass will take place from Friday 30 July til Sunday 1 August. Tickets on sale Thursday 6 May.
