Stereosonic 2012 dates announced

After a mammoth 2011 festival, including appearances from Armin Van Buuren and LMFAO, Stereosonic has announced its dates for another run that's sure to be just as big in 2012.

The line up and venues will be announced in the coming months, with tickets on sale in early August.

Let the artist speculations begin, but for now here are the solid facts - the dates for the festivals in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Saturday November 24 - Sydney
Sunday November 25 - Perth
Saturday December 1 - Melbourne
Saturday December 1 - Adelaide
Sunday December 2 - Brisbane
