Lady Gaga was nominated for a record breaking 13 awards at this year's MTV Video Music Awards so there was little doubt the night would belong to anyone but her.
The soon-to-be-crowned Queen of Pop took home a staggering eight awards, while Eminem scored moon man for Best Male Video and Best Hip Hop video for single "Not Afraid."
