Australia's trailblazing dance act The Potbelleez have confirmed their return to the forefront when they release their sophomore album Destination Now this October.
The Potbelleez found huge success in 2008 following the release of their debut album and monster single "Don't Hold Back" which saw them pick up an ARIA Award and achieve sales in excess of 150 000 units.
Destination Now and lead single "Hello" signals the long-awaited return by the band.
"Destination Now is full of soaring sounds, big festival anthems and pumping club tracks," frontman Jonny Sonic revealed.
"We're so happy with how the new songs have come out. Expect to have your hands in the air and a sore throat from singing -- it's pure Potbelleez."
Teaming up with the acclaimed Paul Mac (Itch-E & Scratch-E, The Dissociatives), Destination Now promises to be one of the biggest local releases of the year.
"Working with Paul Mac is what makes working in the music industry so dynamic and deep," instrumentalist Ilan Kidron explained. "The songs just came together. His angles, ideas and freakish eccentrics have made us all massively excited about Destination Now!"
"Hello" will be released on August 13, followed by Destination Now on October 22.
