DJ Tiesto has congratulated deadmau5 on his MTV VMAs appointment.

deadmau5 has been named as the house DJ for 2010's MTV VMAs and Tiesto couldn't be happier about the news.

Speaking with MTV he passed on his well-wishes, "I think Deadmau5 did an amazing job in the last couple of years. His music has been amazing.

"I'm very proud of you, deadmau5... Good luck with that!"

The MTV VMAs will take place on September 12.
