The Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) has released the Top 50 Club Tracks of 2009.
Taking out the number one spot was Sidney Samson’s "Riverside," followed by Axwell’s "Leave The World Behind" and Calvin Harris’ "I’m Not Alone."
Coming in at number four was TV Rock featuring NovaNation's Grant Smillie with "In The Air." TV Rock (Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough) performed a live version of "In The Air" for Nova last year. Watch the video here!
Neon Records were proud of their achievements in 2009, saying "We were well represented in the Top 50 with the majority of our 2009 releases making an appearance."
Local act Zoe Badwi made the Top 50 Club Tracks of 2009 sitting at number 43 with her release "In The Moment." Zoe was excited to hear she’d made the list, telling novanation.com.au: "Last year was amazing! I have had the time of my life playing all over the world. It’s the best feeling when the crowd sings back my songs louder than me."
Neon were also happy with some of their acts making the top end of the Dance Singles chart, adding "We also fare well in the Highest Selling Dance Singles of 2009 with Sidney Samson's "Riverside" and Agnes' "Release Me" both inside the top 20 alongside the likes of Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Lady Gaga and Ke$ha."
