While plenty of Aussies are still recovering from their 2010 new year's celebrations, Victorian revellers are gearing up for The Hot Barbeque which is just a few sleeps away.
Grandmaster Flash, Black Angus, The Presets, Sneaky Sound System and Kaz James are just a handful of artists peforming at this year’s event at the Point Nepean in Portsea.
Now in its third year, The Hot Barbeque – previously held at Melbourne’s Birrarung Marr and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl – has moved to the biggest venue to date, the picturesque Point Nepean Quarantine Station.
Dance lovers will be swept up in a myriad of beats by the Band Gang DJs, Scientists of Modern Music, Lost Valentinos, Dangerous Dan, Grant Smillie, Kaz James, John Course, and plenty more.
Rock heads, hip hop gurus and other music maestros can also indulge in the likes of Jet, Bertie Blackman, Miami Horror, Scribe, Phrase and True Live.
The Hot Barbeque kicks off this Saturday january 16 at 12pm.
