A planned album between Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell Williams -- under the moniker Child Rebel Soldier -- has been shelved.
The idea for the hip-hop supergroup was formed as West searched for collaborators for his track "Us Placers". He found Williams and Fiasco. WIthin the group, Fiasco is the Child, Williams the Rebel and West the Soldier.
Despite reports earlier in the year that the group had finished four tracks for an album, Fiasco has put an end to speculation regarding the project.
A recent interviewer asked Fiasco if a Child Rebel Soldier album was on the way, and his hope-shattering answer was simple: "No". You can watch the interview here.
