Hey there lately have been experiencing dramas with the iphone app it doesnt stream properly even in wifi zone it says its playing but it randomly stops playing music when it likes also if the app could be updated so that it can run in the background that would be gr8 currently not possible

Not sure how old your app is but might be worth deleting & redownloading the app as we changed suppliers a few months back?

Hi guys, Ill try and answer as many questions as i can

technical - I started a separate thread, but in a nutshell we have had a few different issues and we hope are near fixing. please let us know if you are having troubles still on that thread

Repetition - I take your feedback. It’s the eternal battle for all radio to balance what works for longer listeners with those who are not for various reasons.

Commercial - we are a commercial operation and we make no apology for playing commercial dance, especially across the daytime period. We play less commercial stuff at night when we play more specialized dance shows and music for some deeper stuff. The right balance of course differs for each person, but we are aiming to cover both commercial & a little underground.

MIxes - yep agreed we should display the mix/version. That is something we should be doing. I have raised this with engineering. Hopefully that will come soon.

Shows - some shows are repeated just to give as many people as possible the chance to hear them. We focus on them in the evening slots. We will probably be scaling some show repeats back. Shows are an ever changing part of the schedule & we have some more planned soon. Tracklists we always post on the site when they are available

Legally we are not licensed to have shows downloadable or streamed on demand, sorry guys

Small update guys. For those that do have DAB+ radios, you can now see what version is being played for remixes.

Website streamer/iPhone app is a little harder but working on it

The now playing app for computer is great, although maybe be able to change the size of the window? Because can't see the full name of the song sometimes. Or is this only the case for me, and I should try installing it again?

More variation in the rewinds, heard Scatman John for the first time in ages the other day, I need more surprises please just like that

Second wish is theres several heavy tracks on high rotation atm, can we ease up on those a bit? Get some more balance in the mix. (I listen daytime on DAB+)

Play some "Scooter" every now and again. They have a relatively new album (Under the radar over the top), new singles, etc..

I check the music search every now and then and it still comes up empty when searching for Scooter.

I would like to see one thing on novanation, and that is those guest mixes you guys play every week, heard Sneaky Sound System and Chuckie the other day and both of them went off, only one thing i would change about that is to upload the playlist and their entire set for us to download, that would be awesome.

I think a lot of you are forgetting that even though it maybe commercial music, its also classifies as dance. If you want something more Hardstyle / Under Ground / Trance, there are plenty of other radio stations available. eg. Defqon has its own radio station for hard style lovers.
